Female VA needed

Posted by Torrrington - February 11th, 2024

Greetings. Me, Baursach, Pani and the others are making another animated short, this time based on Hellsing.

It will be a quite melancholic and sad one, so it won't have any funnies. We ve managed to make storyboards, music, a major part of the shots, most of the backgrounds (which can be seen on the screenshots in the upper left part of the picture) and russian voice lines. We found a male english voice actor for Alucard, but we have not yet managed to find a suitable female voice for Victoria. Therefore, we decided to invite you, people, to participate in making the english dub for our short.

What will be task about?

- Small amount of work - dubbing 4 original russian voice lines;

- The character for whom the dubbing is needed is Seras Victoria (those who have watched the original anime might remember the character);

- Your name/nickname will be in the credits.

- It'll be unpaid

Some requirements:

- The sound quality has to be good (It doesnt need to sound like it's recorded in the studio, but it must not be recorded on a potato);

- Being able to cry for acting (yes, there will be such a moment in the short (I told you it would be a sad one).

You can send your voice demos/portfolios to my DM, or to my discord: @torrrington

If you have friends who could participate, please share this post with them

I just stumbled over your post and just wanted to say that I think you might have higher chances of finding collaborators by using Newgrounds' Collab system:

Or maybe the 'Voice Acting' sub-forum:

Right now you are reaching up to 582 of your fans and anyone who happens to be reading the artist news for today. And honestly, that number is rather big, but it will reach a lot of people who cannot help you.
From my perspective, what you are doing right now is the equivalent of putting a neon sign on your front lawn, instead of putting a (free) ad in the newspaper. Your sign might be very visible, but it's not very targeted.

Good sign, though. :) Very clear about what kind of voice actress you are looking for and what you expect from her.

Thanks for the advice
